- Where the Sidewalk Ends: the Poems and Drawing of Shel Silverstein by Shel Silverstein
- The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle
- Love You Forever by Robert N. Munsch
- Little House on the Prairie by Laura Ingalls Wilder (the whole series)
I didn’t see it on here, but one of my favorite series as a child was Hardy Boys by Franklin W. Dixon.
