Paper Making with Lonnie and Jacqueline
This is something we have been trying at home. Combine the papermaking activity with some history of papermaking and the science of paper making and you have a great unit study. It’s also a lot of fun.

Maybe not technically a homeschool link, although it has many good Physics applications, Pinewood Freak is an awesome site. Here’s one tip: polish the inside of the wheels to help decrease friction when rubbing against the bodies.
This is a great site where students can watch short videos about how science and math are used in real careers. Anything from building Mars rovers to raising ferrets. These can be purchased on DVD or watched online.

I’ve got to say this has to be one of the best fun science websites I have seen - Steve Spangler Science. I will be getting myself…er the kids one of those Mentos Geyser thingies. Many cool experiments and videos here too.
